Marginalized racial and religious groups in Peel Region have the lowest social-economic status among Peel Region population. Given the ways that the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted low-income and racialized people especially in the Region of Peel, Bramalea Islamic Cultural Centre would like to play a pivotal role in elevating socio-economic status of people in need and building a community for life where everyone enjoys a sense of belonging and has access to the opportunities needed to thrive in each stage of their lives.
Here is a list of programs and activities we do to improve social and economic opportunities for marginalized population groups in the Region of Peel. The purpose of these programs and activities is to remove some of barriers that keep vulnerable families from the resources and supports necessary to thrive. They will help them to participate in the society, prosper, and reach their full potential.
